Virgil van Dijk added to the jubilation of the travelling Liverpool followers after this night’s 2-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor.
The 32-year-old was named the official man of the match (MOTM) for his efficiency in Lancashire, and as he made his means in the direction of the tunnel shortly after the ultimate whistle, his well-known chant rang out from the away finish.
Clutching the MOTM award in his proper hand, the LFC captain responded to his title being sung by elevating his different arm aloft in triumph and appreciation, the enjoyment of our newest win etched delightfully throughout his face.
Van Dijk’s gesture went down an absolute deal with with the away followers, with the bond between skipper and supporters tighter than ever because the six-year anniversary of his Reds debut approaches!
