Fowler and Wyndham Clark, who’s 1 stroke again, may not end their rounds till near 11 p.m. ET.
There’s a formidable group of contenders behind Fowler — who’s 10 beneath after 36 holes — together with Xander Schauffele (8 beneath), Rory McIlroy (8 beneath), Harris English (7 beneath), Dustin Johnson (6 beneath), Scottie Scheffler (5 beneath) and Cameron Smith (4 beneath).
