Iga Swiatek has withdrawn from subsequent week’s Guadalajara Open event.
The four-time Grand Slam champion cited the necessity to relaxation and restoration forward of the ultimate stretch of the season.

“Sadly, I have to withdraw from the event in Guadalajara attributable to a change of schedule,” Swiatek posted on Twitter now often called X. “I have to listing to my physique. And because the season may be very intense—our No. 1 precedence is to play it to the tip in good well being and plan it correctly so we would not threat an harm.

Swiatek stated she plans to return to the Tour in Tokyo.

The Guadalajara Open, a WTA 1000 event, has awarded a wild card to former Wimbledon finalist Genie Bouchard.
