The 31-year-old Tomljanovic, who like Pegula has been battling a left knee damage, mentioned she hopes to be match for the Australian Open.
“I’m so disenchanted to withdraw from the Brisbane Worldwide, however I wished to be 100 per cent able to compete, which I’m not,” Tomljanovic wrote in an Instagram submit. “I’ll proceed my prep and see you all on the Australian Open.”
Kokkinakis, who represented Australia eventually month’s Davis Cup Ultimate 8 in Malaga, Spain, has been bothered by a “small hip difficulty.”
