Prime seed Novak Djokovic moved one step nearer to a medal on the Paris Olympics on Thursday, when he earned a hard-fought 6-3, 7-6 (3) win towards no.8 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Novak broke within the fourth sport of the opening set to take it 6-3. He trailed 2-5 in a dramatic second set, by which he saved three set factors and twice referred to as the physio for his proper knee. The Serbian star appeared to regain confidence in his motion in the direction of the tip. He broke the Greek twice to drive a tiebreak, which he ultimately received 7-3.

Up subsequent for the 24-time Grand Slam champion is eleventh seed Lorenzo Musetti, who upset defending Olympic gold medalist Alexander Zverev 7-5, 7-5.
Djokovic has received six of his seven conferences towards the Italian.
