The NBA Board of Governors has authorized the sale of the Charlotte Hornets to a bunch led by Gabe Plotkin and Rick Schnall. The sale will finish Michael Jordan’s run of 13 years because the Hornets main proprietor.
The sale is predicted to be accomplished within the subsequent one-to-two weeks. Jordan is retaining a minority stake within the Hornets after the sale.
The Hornets had been valued at an approximate $3 billion. Jordan paid $275 million for his majority stake within the Charlotte franchise in 2010.
