French tennis (and never solely) in shock: former participant Angelique Cauchy accused her former youth coach Andres Gueddes of raping her 3 times a day on the time of the occasions. Gueddes started teaching Cauchy at Sarcelles Tennis Membership in 1999, when he was simply 12 years previous.
The abuse started just a few months later, and was justified by the person as regular.
He would have mentioned, as witnessed by Cauchy: “it typically occurs that the relationships between instructor and pupil are like this as a result of we spend plenty of time collectively.”
Over the subsequent two years, Angelique claims, the connection with the coach steadily worsened and the lady was raped over 400 occasions.
What occurred
Two years in the past, exactly in 2021, Gueddes was discovered responsible of assaulting 4 teenage ladies in France and was sentenced to 18 years.
Cauchy mentioned, as reported by MARCA and the Guardian: “I believed many occasions about committing suicide. He kidnapped me 3 times a day. The primary night time he requested me to go to his room and I did not do it, then he got here into mine. It was worse.

However he lied to me, simply to destroy me.”When a member of the tennis membership complained about Geddes’ predatory and abusive habits, the membership president allegedly responded: “Sure, however he brings us the titles.”
