Main League Baseball introduced the Gold Glove winners on Sunday, as chosen by a bunch of managers, coaches and statistical evaluation.
Twenty-five p.c of the choice complete was decided by SABR’s Defensive Index metrics, whereas the opposite 75 p.c was decided by votes from all 30 managers and as much as six coaches from every group. The utility Gold Glove was decided in a separate trend, by way of a defensive system calculated by SABR and Rawlings.
