Mat Ishbia stated that he expects Kevin Durant to signal an extension with the Phoenix Suns subsequent offseason and end his profession with the workforce.
“[Durant] loves being in Phoenix, we love having him. He is off to an incredible begin this season — one of many MVP leaders — and we’re off to an excellent begin.
“We count on Kevin to signal an extension, be with us for the long run. We hope he finishes his profession right here in Phoenix,” stated Ishbia.
Durant will likely be eligible for a two-year, $120 million extension this coming offseason.
Durant’s present contract runs via the 2025-26 season.
Durant has been out as a result of a calf pressure since November 8.
