It was clear by the look on Marcus Rashford’s face that he wasn’t significantly completely happy about questions referring to Man Metropolis’s treble after becoming a member of up with the England crew.
The Man United star has, like his Pink Devils team-mates and the remainder of the Premier League, needed to sit again and watch as Pep Guardiola’s swashbucklers rewrote the file books.
Not since United’s fantastic treble-winning squad of 1999 has an English top-flight crew received the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in the identical season, and although Rashford wasn’t completely happy that it was United’s cross metropolis rivals that took the plaudits, he admitted that they’d been the most effective crew in 2022/23.
