Jason Crowe Jr., a 6-foot-2 freshman (2026) from Lynwood (Calif.) dropped 47 factors Friday night in a 102-49 CIF Southern Part playoff victory over La Quinta (Calif.). The lefty level guard now has 1,032 factors in 28 video games and is simply 4 factors shy of the all-time single-season state file for factors by a freshman. The mark of 1,036 factors is held by one other shifty left-handed level guard: Marcus Lovett Jr. of Windfall (Burbank, Calif.). The Mixtape legend had a terrific freshman season in 2011-12.
Crowe didn’t even play within the fourth quarter of the La Quinta recreation and has not less than one playoff recreation to go on Tuesday. Crowe and Lovett are the one two freshmen to hit the 1,000-point mark, in line with the Cal-Hello Sports activities State Document Guide.
