The Charlotte Hornets unveiled a brand new Basic Version jersey on Wednesday to have fun the franchise’s 35 yr anniversary.
The jersey contains a teal silhouette with multi-colored double pinstripes, paying tribute to the jerseys the workforce wore from 1997-2002.
“We’re happy to introduce a brand new Basic Version uniform to be worn as a part of our celebration of the thirty fifth Anniversary of the Charlotte Hornets inaugural season,” mentioned Hornets President & Vice Chairman Fred Whitfield. “All through our historical past, the Hornets have been acknowledged for modern uniform designs, and we all know our followers might be excited to see the look that our workforce wore from 1997-2002 again on the courtroom in Charlotte.”
The Hornets will put on the uniforms for eight dwelling video games this season.
