When the Los Angeles Dodgers signed Jonathan Araúz to a minor league contract in December of 2023, there was a chance of an invite to main league spring coaching in 2024.
The invitation didn’t come.

On Thursday, the Dodgers’ Triple-A affiliate in Oklahoma Metropolis defeated the Albuquerque Isotopes 21-9. Araúz went 1-for-5 with a double and a stroll, extending his hitting streak to 14 video games. He’s 18-for-59 (.305) through the stretch with eight doubles, one triple, and a house run.
The 25-year-old performed in 27 video games final season for the New York Mets, batting .136 with three dwelling runs and 9 RBIs in 59 at-bats. He performed 15 video games at third base, seven at second base, and 5 at shortstop, committing only one error with 46 assists and 24 putouts in 169 innings.
Araúz has performed in components of 4 seasons on the MLB degree with the Boston Pink Sox (2020-22), Baltimore Orioles (2022) and Mets (2023). He’s a profession .184 hitter with eight homers, 31 RBIs, a .253 on-base share, and a .308 slugging share.
