After six rounds, Ball had out-landed Ford 85-71 and held a 67-46 edge in energy punches landed. Ford appeared to be carrying down underneath Ball’s relentless ahead aggression. An enormous left from Ford bloodied Ball’s nostril and stopped him in his tracks within the seventh. Over the past six rounds of the combat, Ford landed 72 energy punches and Ball’s 64. All three judges scored the combat 115-113, certainly one of them for Ford and two of them for Ball.
