TEMPE, Ariz. — The Arizona Cardinals positioned veteran tight finish Zach Ertz on injured reserve Tuesday due to a quad pressure.
Ertz suffered the damage in Sunday’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks. It marks the second straight season Ertz has landed on IR.
Ertz tore his ACL in Week 10 final season and missed the remainder of the yr. He returned in August this season and has 27 catches — the second most on the group — for 187 yards and a landing.
Ertz had three catches on 4 targets for 19 yards Sunday.
The Cardinals signed tight finish Blake Whiteheart off their follow squad and launched security Ok’Von Wallace in a sequence of corresponding strikes Tuesday.
