Face it, Mondo Duplantis is a world celebrity! His expertise, health, and enthusiasm get crowds enthused! And such was the scenario in Clermont-Ferrand, France, the place Mondo Duplantis set a brand new world report of 6.22 meters, on his third try on the top, so as to add to the drama!

In second was Kurtis Marschall, who cleared a PB of 5.91m on his first try. In third was Dutch Menno Vloon, 5.91m on his third try. Thibaut Collet equaled his indoor PB of 5.81m in fourth.
