With the participation of boxers from Apure, Miranda and Aragua, the eighth version of the Gilberto Mendoza Boxing Competition can be held this Saturday on the services of the Centro Recreacional Yesterday in Maracay.
The occasion celebrates the legacy of the World Boxing Affiliation (WBA) President Emeritus, on the 81st anniversary of his start.
This boxing pageant is a part of the WBA occasions program, aimed toward selling boxing from an early age, together with youngsters and adolescents, providing all of them a chance to develop and study values via sport.
