NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The College of Chicago wrestling workforce bounced again from a loss the day past to defeat Manchester College 30-10 on Sunday afternoon.
The No. 13-ranked Maroons improved to 4-2 whereas the Spartans fell to 0-4.
UChicago captured eight of the ten weight courses. Three Maroons tallied bonus factors – Griffin Seyfried pinned his opponent at 133 kilos, Brendan Connolly posted an 18-3 technical fall at 149 kilos and Cole Fibranz posted a shutout at heavyweight 8-0.
The 5 different UChicago victories got here through determination. Amir Williams prevailed 13-7 at 141 kilos, and Hutch Lynott tallied an 11-6 win at 174 kilos. Cade Creighton (197 kilos) blanked his opponent by a 7-0 remaining. Nolan Pozzobon recorded a 6-3 victory at 184 kilos, and Sam Johnson pulled out a 5-4 win at 165 kilos.
