UFC 292 bonus winners included the 2 headliners who walked away with titles round their waists: Sean O’Malley and Zhang Weili.
The brand new UFC bantamweight champ and defending strawweight champ each earned $50,000 bonuses for his or her dominant performances. UFC President Dana White introduced the bonus winners on the post-fight press convention for Saturday’s pay-per-view occasion at TD Backyard in Boston.
O’Malley captured the bantamweight title with a vicious knockout of champ Aljamain Sterling in the primary occasion. It was O’Malley’s eighth UFC efficiency bonus.
Zhang, in the meantime, defended the strawweight title with a door-to-door beating of Amanda Lemos within the co-headliner. Judges scored the bout 50-43, 50-44 and 49-45, a mirrored image of how one-sided the bout was.
