CHICAGO – College of Chicago girls’s lacrosse participant Rachel Keefe was chosen as a Pupil-Athlete of the Week by the Faculty Convention of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) on Tuesday.
Keefe garnered the league’s weekly defensive recognition following her efficiency in No. 17-ranked UChicago’s weekend highway win at No. 24-ranked Denison College. The sophomore goalie restricted the Huge Pink to 9 targets whereas making eight saves within the contest. Denison solely transformed 1-of-6 makes an attempt on free-position pictures.
By two video games, Keefe is 2-0 with a 6.86 targets in opposition to common.
